Europa was formed in 1973, the same year Britain joined the European Market. The original concept was to supply the retail market with all its shopfitting requirements, the company operated out of a modest base in Watford. Throughout the 1970s and early 1980s much of the company’s work was display system orientated from a variety of different sources, including importing. 1987 saw relocation to larger premises in Hemel Hempstead and the start of in house manufacturing. This was increased, particularly through the 1990s where full spray shop facility and a newly extended machine shop were added. The company now works in many areas other than retailing and carries out fit-out work throughout the UK and overseas. Trevor Parsons, with the company since 1975, and Mike McLaurin, who joined in 1996, are the principal shareholders and directors.

We handle contracts in excess of £2 million, with full computerised contract support, CAD, and accounting systems. We are pleased to list some of the UK’s best known companies among our client list.

In 2002 the limited company name was changed to better reflect the type of work we are currently undertaking.

We are now registered as Europa Shopfitting & Interiors Ltd.
